The Newborn Experience
Natural. Authentic. Emotive.
Those first days and weeks with a beautiful new baby are so fleeting; it's hard to notice just how quickly they grow and change. You'll never regret stopping to capture those teeny tiny toes, lashes, and fingernails that your amazing body created. As a mum of two and a professional family photographer for over 10 years, I understand amazing, elating, overwhelming, and tiring it can feel. I love to create super relaxed and calm sessions so you can sit back, relax, and soak up precious moments with your new little one. Then, as you emerge from those sleep-deprived, fleeting weeks and months, you'll forever have a beautiful collection of natural, authentic, and timeless images to cherish and remind you how little your not-so-little baby once was.
I aim to photograph new babies within their first 6 to 21 weeks of arriving when they are at their most sleepy and naturally curled up. I typically take bookings provisionally from 20-week scans onwards, or if you'd prefer, you can inquire once the baby has arrived. However, I do recommend provisionally inquiring early to ensure availability, as I am often booked up a month or so ahead.
Every Session Includes...
- Upon booking, you'll receive a welcome guide containing everything you need to know to help you get the best out of your session.
- A relaxed baby-led session lasting up to 3 hours at my bright and airy natural light studio in Thame, Oxfordshire. This provides plenty of time for feeding, nappy changes and settling your baby.
- Light refreshments.
- Full use of my carefully created mother and baby wardrobe if you wish.
- Individual baby and family portraits.
- Beautifully hand-edited images.
- Access to a private online preview gallery (typically a minimum of 40+ images) for you to view.
To provisionally secure a space in my studio diary, a £150 session fee is required upfront. Within one month of your session, you’ll receive a link to your private online gallery where you can view the beautiful images of your precious baby, who will have already grown and changed so much. You'll then be able to choose from my carefully curated package and product range. My pricing is simple and fully transparent, so you'll know exactly what to expect prior to booking.
Digital packages start at £200.
Framed artwork starts at £275.
Albums start from £250.
