The Studio Experience....

With over 10 years experience professionally photographing babies, families and as a mum of two growing girls, you can trust me to safely capture natural, elegant, and timeless imagery of your precious new baby and every teeny tiny feature.

I fully appreciate how surreal, amazing, and overwhelming those first weeks with a new baby can feel. Brand new for October 2024, I've relocated from my garden studio into a larger, bright and airy photography studio in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Drawing on my years of experience, my photography studio is fully equipped and designed to make your experience as relaxed, calm and enjoyable as possible. As my newborn sessions usually take place within a baby's first 1-3 weeks, I appreciate that the session might be one of the first outings for new parents and can feel daunting. As soon as my clients step into my studio, my goal is to help parents and little ones (at whatever age) feel at ease, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy soaking up lots of precious joyful moments with your new baby and as a family for you to forever cherish.

I work in a fully baby and child-led way, so newborn sessions typically last 2 to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling, and soothing. Your new baby will grow, develop, and change so rapidly, That is why I love newborn photography because the time they are at their teeniest tiniest is so fleeting. You'll never regret capturing this time.

I do not use themes, props, themed outfits or accessories—just neutral tones and  a very natural composition to put the focus on your baby in my signature simple and timeless style. My family photography studio is located in Thame, Oxfordshire, and is flooded with soft ambient light, helping to create that gorgeous soft glow.

To make things even easier, I have created a beautiful neutral and naturally styled collection of dresses and tops for mums, babies and children so you don't have to worry about finding something to wear. I also have toys, colouring and entertainment for toddlers and smaller children.

I am usually booked up a month or so in advance, so it's best to contact me on or after your 20-week scan to  provisionally secure a session in my studio diary. This allows me to cater for early, on-time, or late arrivals to ensure that I can see you within the first few weeks of a baby arriving. If you are reading this with a baby who is already a few weeks old, do not panic. Simply contact me, and I'll see what availability I have.

To find out more about what a session entails, my pricing and how to book, please see below. If you wondering why you should book a session in today, here is my why which is why I love what I do....

The photos we capture today will become some of our most treasured possessions in years to come, taking us back to memories and moments that would have otherwise been lost.

Let's capture yours...
